WEDDING DESTINATION >> ITALY >> VENICE

Venice (Venezia in Italian) is known as the "city of canals" and is still one of the most interesting and lovely places in the world. This sanctuary on a lagoon is virtually the same as it was five hundred years ago, which adds to the fascinating character romantic charm. Because Venice is on a lagoon the most popular way to approach Venice is by boat or train. The absence of cars makes it - mostly - a pleasant experience. The Rialto bridge is the oldest bridge across the canal and probably the most famous in the city, nearby is the Town Hall where civil weddings ceremonies takes place. Venice is small enough to walk from one end to the other and is pleasant to visit with the classical Venetian boat: the gondola which is used for for wedding transportation too. An event in Venice will be remembered through the ages.
